Elimination of toxic organic pollutants using solar energy and green oxidants such H2O2 is a critical but challenging research topic. Fenton-like reactions are very suitable for the above target if both the light-harvesting and ROS species cycle are efficiently achieved. We recently developed a cheap, recyclable and efficient co-catalyst by integrating multiple chemical functions (including visible-light harvest, acceleration of iron cycle, and avoid of ROS attack) in a stable chemical architecture to significantly accelerate degradation of organic pollutants.
