The course is designed for students and engineers who engage in fluid fluidization field. Before studying this course, one advises you to prepare some basic knowledge about “Transfer Process Principle” and “Advanced Engineering Mathematics”. It is suitable for graduate students. |
Course Description: |
|
It is not only the professional basic course for graduate students with a major of chemical engineering and technology, but also the elective course for graduate students of another major, such as Mechanics, engineering thermo-physics, and so on. Multiphase flow is the common physical phenomenon and also the important basis of “mass transfer, momentum transfer, energy transfer and chemical reaction” in the chemical engineering. Fluidization is the typical application of multiphase flow, and also regarded as the operational type widely used in petroleum, chemical engineering, energy field. Fluidization application is combined with the basic theory of multiphase flow in the course, to introduce the history and development of fluidization, flow phenomena, flow pattern transition, mass transfer and reactions, industrial applications, and some related knowledge about the basic multiphase fluid dynamics, simulating methods and computational technology. After studying this course, one should obtain the basic knowledge of multiphase flow associated with fluidization, to build the foundation for the research in future. |
