Course Description: |

This course is designed for graduates majored in organic and material chemistry or other related majors. This course will introduce photoluminescence and electroluminescence materials; photochromic and electrochromic materials; non-linear optical materials; photon information storage principle, materials and devices; photo-isomerization and photorefractive materials; semiconductors, nano-materials and utilization of solar energy, etc.
The students would be expected to understand the properties of photo-functional materials based on the principles of photochemistry, and further to learn the design and synthesis of photo-functional materials. |
