To focus on the major applications of transition metal complexes in organic and polymeric chemistry, including the fundamental principles and future development. To encourage the students to get involved in sub-divided seminars according to their research projects in addition to lectures carried out in the classroom. To introduce up-to-date research activities in this field. |

Introduction to catalysis; Catalytic CO reactions; Hydrogenation; general catalyst design principles; Fundamental reaction types; Catalytic cycles; H-transfer; Hydrosilylations; Hydrocyanations; Hydroamination; Olefin polymerization; C-C coupling reactions. |
