Course Description:
It is designed both for undergraduate, graduate students and those who are working in or intend to working in the field related biomaterials. The course will introduce the significant meaning of biomaterials to the related subjects such as biological science, materials and medical science as well as corresponding engineering topics. The student completing the course should acquire general principle of biomaterials and learn the perspective of biomaterials developing. Grade will be judged on the base of performance in homework assignments, literature reports and final examination.
Course Content:
The course covers extensive knowledge of materials involved in biological and medical science. Chapter 8 Nature bio and bionic materials Introduction of nature bio materials; Designing guidance of bionic materials and practical case et al.. Chapter 9 Nano biomaterials Definition and characteristic of nano biomaterials; Fabrication and application of nano biomaterials; Nano hybrid biomaterials et al..
