Course Description:
This is a professional course for graduates of chemistry and materials science, which study on the structure of the materials, chemical substances, composition, nature and synthesis methods. It is an important branch of chemistry and foundation for the development of materials science. This course enable students to be able to in-depth understand the composition, structure of the material and its relationship with the performance. Chapter 4 Synthesis and preparation of the solid material Synthesis of the various forms of solid matter. Chapter 5 Analysis of the structure and properties of the solid substances The analysis tools of structure, composition, performance of solid material. Chapter 6 Diffusion and surface chemistry of the solid The diffusion mechanism of the solid; Diffusion law; The diffusion behavior of different substances and surface chemical phenomena including diffusion, evaporation, adsorption, and catalytic behavior etc. Chapter 7 Phase equilibria and phase transition Phase rule, phase diagram of the component, binary, ternary system; The process of phase transition of thermodynamics and dynamics.
