Catalog Number: 422018Y Hours/Credits: 40/2
The course is designed for graduate students who engaged in chemistry and chemical engineering field. Before studying this course, you’d better preparing some basic knowledge about “Physical Chemistry” and “Surface Chemistry”.
Course Description:
Catalytic science plays a significant role in national economy. When each new kind of catalyst and process has been successfully developed, it will cause significant innovation in chemical industry. Catalytic technology has become the motivation and mark of development and progress of chemical engineering. This subject is regarded as basic course for graduate in industrial catalysis direction. It is also an selective course for graduate studied in chemistry and chemical engineering direction. Its primary contents are principles of preparing different types of catalyst, mechanism and kinetics of catalytic reaction. After studying it, you should be able to understand the basic principle of catalytic reaction mechanism.
