Analytical Chemistry

The researches of analytical chemistry division focus on the development of analytical methods, principally centered on the organic analytical chemistry, bio-analytical chemistry and environmental analytical chemistry, techniques employed include electrochemistry, ultraviolet/visible molecular absorption spectrometry, molecular luminescence spectrometry, chromatograph, capillary electrophoresis, mass spectrometry and surface plasmon resonance. Largely, interdisciplinary collaborations are central to the research in this section.

● Synthesis of cerium oxide nanoparticles and the study of its antioxidant activity

● The construct and electrochemical research of novel interface between electrode and solution.

● The preparation and functionalization of gold nanoparticles and carbon materials with nano/micro structure.

● The investigation of bioactive substances using selective method of electrochemical analysis.

● The investigation of contamination using photoelectrochemistry methods.

● The development of novel and efficient sample pretreatment and chromatographic analytical method for novel organic pollutants in environmental and biological samples.

● The study of novel composite nano-materials and their potential application in the field of environment science and analytical chemistry.
